Walt Lewis

Walt Lewis has been involved in the construction industry since 1980, shortly after he graduated from St. Michael’s College in Winooski Vt., with a BS degree in Economics. While being exposed to most of the industry trades working on multi-family units for a family owned construction business in Rotterdam NY, he gravitated towards carpentry and went on to excel in both rough and finished carpentry. Moving to south Florida in 1989 precipitated a career upgrade to carpentry sub-contracting. Shortly after he obtained a Builders License from the State of Florida and expanded into remodeling and home building which he continued to do until moving his family to North Carolina in 1997. Walt took a superintendent position with a Custom Home Builder in North Raleigh immediately, obtained a North Carolina Building license, and worked with the firm for two years before opening up his own remodeling and new home building business in 1999. From 1999 to 2015 he built dozens of homes and completed many residential renovation projects through his business. Walt joined Concept 8 in June of 2015 as a Project Manager, using his knowledge and skills to lead our Remodeling Division.
